Kate has lived in the north suburbs of Chicago almost all of her life. She has two passions in life, which are animals and art! Since graduating from Northern Illinois University with a BFA in Drawing in 2007, she has worked as a full time Vet technician, and is excited to share her love for art to Tipsy Paint! When not at work, Kate loves to play with her animals, Fagan, the crazy orange Tabby cat, Guano, the bonkers Sphinx cat, and Grendahl, the Doberman mix. She also can be found in her home studio, or working on her website selling custom pet portraits. Her art has raised money for animal shelters around the area, and the wildlife rehab at the University of Illinois. "It's a good day if I can find time to get into the studio, and even better if I can find time to laugh with friends and family"
